IPN Leadership Team went inwards over the summer months to dig deep about how we wanted to reposition IPN to fill our community's professional needs. Then in September, we launched our new look, new membership tiers and started to spread the word. And it is spreading.

The new IPN is barely a month old, and it's already in full swing. Here's what's been happening and what's coming up.

The session clearly struck a chord, and many attendees are already using it as a starting point for a deeper dive into their career goals and how they see themselves professionally.

An extremely useful, fairly interesting and reasonably short session, for personal and business use.
IPN's very own marketing expert Mike Maitland is leading a hands-on workshop for anyone who wants to get time back in their week:

Nine takeaways from our first conversation:
- Start with your "why": your goal and timeline shape everything else.
- Foundation first: build an emergency fund and clear high-interest debt before investing seriously.
- Time in the market: staying invested tends to matter more than trying to time it.
- Watch your costs: fees compound against you, so know what you pay.
- Diversify: don't put everything in one stock, sector or country.
- Know your real risk tolerance: be honest about how you'd handle a big drop.
- Stay consistent: regular, scheduled investing takes the emotion out of it.
- Understand what you invest in: if you can't explain how it makes money, be cautious.
- We're our own biggest risk: FOMO, panic and overconfidence all get in the way. A written plan helps.
